Mu Floating Shelf
Oftentimes we find ourselves searching for that one, missing element that will enrich our home, simultaneously fulfilling a wide spectrum of our needs; timeless in design, multi-purposeful, space-saving and elegant.
With this in mind, Gazzda designed Mu Floating Shelves. Elegantly minimal, and made from solid wood, the floating shelves add personality, adapting to both traditional and contemporary styles.
The Mu shelf is easy to install as well as maintain and depending on your wall, it is impressively durable and sturdy. The shelf’s finishes highlight its tactility; it’s sanded and coated with oil resulting in a smooth and silky feel.
The shelf comes in three dimensions, in natural or white pigmented oil, that can be combined to create a customised look. With lengths of 40 cm, 70 cm, and 100 cm, you can mix and match different sizes to create a truly eye-catching wall display, that suits your taste and needs.
The shelves' semi-elliptical shape contributes to an organic aesthetic, creating the illusion of floating effortlessly in mid-air. This design not only enhances the room's openness and clarity but also casts captivating shadows, enriching the visual dynamics of the space.
The routed plate, includes raised rounded edges, which create a stunning visual expression, and ensure that objects stay safely in place.

Load capacity
The maximum load capacity of the product is 20 kg if mounted on the solid concrete walls.
Mounting
The plugs delivered in the box are suitable for mounting the shelf on the solid concrete walls. Plugs for other kinds of walls can be ordered separately if needed.

The Mu Floating Shelf features a subtle raised edge, designed to prevent objects from rolling off.
Finish
The shelf is available in three plant-based Hardwax oil finishes—white, natural and smoked oil—which help retain the wood's natural state.

Meet the designer
Mustafa Cohadzic
For the Mu collection, I sought to create furniture pieces that embody understated elegance, with a focus on minimalistic design and organic visual expression. The routed plate, with its raised rounded edges, adds a visually appealing element while also ensuring practicality by keeping objects in place. The elliptical shape lends a sense of dynamic movement, evoking a feeling of fluidity and grace.
